1st Grade - Pinch Pot Animals

Students can form pinch pots out of clay, then attach animal ears using score/slip and animal details using clay tools.

1st Grade - Origami Noah's Ark

Students can create an origami boat through folding techniques and step by step instructions.  Students can draw animals using many shapes and can cut them out.

1st Grade - Cuckoo Clock Weavings

Students can weave paper pieces into a paper loom, then use creativity with shapes to turn it into a German Forest inspired Cuckoo clock collage.

1st Grade - Chalk Pastel Polar Bears

Students can use chalk pastel to draw and cut out a polar bear onto a ripped paper background.

1st Grade - Advent Wreath Collages

Students can cut squares or leaf shapes out of rectangles and glue in an oval wreath shape.  Students can add value to candles and glue them so they pop off the page.

2nd Grade - Clay Ladybugs and Environments

Students can use pinch pinch and scoring techniques to create clay ladybugs.  They also used paper, rocks, sticks, yarn, and other supplies to create their ladybugs' environments.

Kindergarten - Coil Picture Frames

Students can use a clay coiling technique to create water-colored picture frames.

1st Grade - Dinosaur Paintings

Students can use shapes to draw dinosaurs and mix primary colors to paint them.

1st Grade - The Crazy-Haired Scream

After studying Edvard Munch's The Scream, the students can draw a surprised/scared expression with crazy paint blown hair.
