1st Grade - Advent Wreath Collages

Students can cut squares or leaf shapes out of rectangles and glue in an oval wreath shape.  Students can add value to candles and glue them so they pop off the page.

7th/8th - Movie Posters

Students created movie posters for Grandparents' Day using drawing with shapes and paint mixing skills.

5th Grade - Clay Castles and Dragons

After studying Medieval castle architecture as well as the difference between European and Western dragons, students form clay slabs and coils into castles and dragons.

4th Grade - Starry Silhouette Skylines

After studying artist Van Gogh, students can cut out symmetrical building and paint expressive skies with warm or cool colors.

7th/8th Grade - Graffiti Names

After studying local artist Scribe, students can design uniquely stylized 3D block or bubble letters. 

2nd Grade - Clay Ladybugs and Environments

Students can use pinch pinch and scoring techniques to create clay ladybugs.  They also used paper, rocks, sticks, yarn, and other supplies to create their ladybugs' environments.

Kindergarten - Coil Picture Frames

Students can use a clay coiling technique to create water-colored picture frames.
