2nd Grade - Clay Ladybugs and Environments



Students can use pinch pinch and scoring techniques to create clay ladybugs.  They also used paper, rocks, sticks, yarn, and other supplies to create their ladybugs' environments.






1st Grade - Dinosaur Paintings



Students can use shapes to draw dinosaurs and mix primary colors to paint them.



1st Grade - The Crazy-Haired Scream



After studying Edvard Munch's The Scream, the students can draw a surprised/scared expression with crazy paint blown hair.

4th Grade - Tree Ornaments

Students can create a zoomed in collage of Christmas tree branches and ornaments using wet on wet painting techniques with analogous color theory.

Students can use multiple shapes to draw angry birds then watercolor the colors of the rainbow.

2nd Grade - Remembrance Poppies

Students can create a multi-media Veterans Day project using tempera painted coffee filters, a watercolored newspaper collage, and a note letting us know "A Poppy is to Remember."








2nd Grade - Cross Silhouettes

Students can create paintings with a cross silhouette using wax resist and mixing primary colors.


3rd grade - Symmetrical Autumn Trees

Students can create a symmetrical reflection of fall trees using Y shapes, burnishing, mono-printing, and stippling.
