5th Grade - Clay Castles and Dragons

After studying Medieval castle architecture as well as the difference between European and Western dragons, students form clay slabs and coils into castles and dragons.

2nd Grade - Clay Ladybugs and Environments



Students can use pinch pinch and scoring techniques to create clay ladybugs.  They also used paper, rocks, sticks, yarn, and other supplies to create their ladybugs' environments.






Kindergarten - Coil Picture Frames



Students can use a clay coiling technique to create water-colored picture frames.

6th Grade - Community Gardens

Students can create community garden models out of recycled and donated recyclable material using pre-planning outlines, problem-solving skills, and complex cutting/hot gluing.

2nd Grade - Remembrance Poppies

Students can create a multi-media Veterans Day project using tempera painted coffee filters, a watercolored newspaper collage, and a note letting us know "A Poppy is to Remember."
